Good episode but very predictable. Kai takes his bid for city counsel to the next level with 2 speeches that go very smoothly. Unless you count a lovable AHS actor showing up and giving him shit and a mass shooting. Either way the plot is advancing which is a refreshing change of pace.
424 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 54 - The Odyssey Of Flight 33 (TZ 218)
An airplane cockpit full of sweaty men and a bitchy stewardess take to the skies and experience something magical. They survive this ordeal by only discussing what they see out the window instead of showing it. Except the 12 second shot of a dinosaur. There also appear to be satanic children in the "tourist" section of the plane that are rampaging against the passengers but they don't focus on that at all either. @phoenixwest - @linkz - @LIWtheTZReview - @ISCPPODCAST
423 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 53 - Twenty Two (TZ 217)
Imagine the most boring dream you've ever had. You explain it to your creepy doctor and your 65 year old friend who acts like he's 18 and they both react like it's the most intense, amazing dream you've ever had. FOOTSTEPS? Then something slightly similar happens and you manage to avoid being on an exploding plane. Do you think about those poor souls lost in the explosion? Nope. You just care about you, don't you? You are a real sack of blonde shit. @phoenixwest - @linkz - @LIWtheTZReview - @ISCPPODCAST
421 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 99 - Fear The Walking Dead - 314 - El Matadero
Welcome new Michonne into the show as she becomes fast friends with Alicia. Ophelia's reign of boring has come to a close. Nick's stint with sobriety has been derailed by eating a brain stem of insanity. Madison makes another terrible decision that just happens to work out for the group.
422 - American't 11 - Self Helpless Book
Put all of your self-help books in the garbage because this episode of American't will be all the help your codependent mind could possibly ever need. Let's take a pause in the episode description to remind you that you're super special. Anyay, this 12 step program read straight from American't: Self Helpless Book will guide you to becoming a soaring, golden God. Look in the mirror. Aren't you lucky?
420 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 27 - Holes (705)
Kai's cult takes things to the next level by killing a gimp. That's a strange lifestyle and Phoenix makes his opinions of it known. This episode of AHS is called Holes and for once a AHS season isn't full of them.
419 - LIW Movie Review - 69 - Under Siege 2 Dark Territory (1995)
Phoenix is joined by his LIW The Twilight Zone Review co-host Frank Linkz from Way Off Topic Radio to discuss the classic Steven Seagal movie Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. A movie that they love an unreasonable amount despite it's many, many flaws. Editing being the biggest flaw. Phoenix renamed this adventure classic, "Under Siege 2: Whispers And Explosions." They also discuss their failed attempt at making this a B-Movie Battle (formerly Shitty Movie Showdown!) video episode on Skype while trying to watch the same movie while being 3000 miles apart. It didn't work out too well. Just like Under Siege 2.
418 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 52 - A Penny For Your Thoughts (TZ 216)
This might be the most off topic episode to date. They discuss being good friends with Justin Timberlake, the 60's Gerry Anderson puppet shows that were super creepy, how annoying it is when people tell the time by saying it's 10 of 9, the DMV experiences they've had and then touch on the simple storyline of this episode. This TZ episode has the most rushed opening ever when they could have spent time setting it up which ruined it for Phoenix. Also, Phoenix tries to get Frank to set him up for a mind reading bit the entire episode which finally pays off so you'll have to listen for that. OUR LISTENERS ARE ASSHOLES. What? I didn't say that out loud.
417 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 51 - The Invaders (TZ 215)
A great episode without dialogue in which a woman goes insane and murders her children. Or that's what Phoenix thinks really happened in this one. Instead the twist ending divides Phoenix and Frank. Great episodes with minimal plots are difficult to dissect but they find a way to go off topic and still break down the episode. Probably.
416 - Things That Will Burn In Hell - 2 - The Song "Let It Snow"
Christmas is a sexy time of year according to popular Christmastime tunes. Phoenix West quickly breaks down the song in a new light, as if the song were a plea for someone to just release the snow hostage.

414 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 98 - The Walking Dead - 201 - What Lies Ahead
Prepare to look for Sophia. This isn't a 'whodunnit' but more a 'whogivesashit' because Sophia sucks. Why does Rick think being on his back under a truck is better than his stomach? Wrong. Shane and Andrea are the odd men out of the group. Dale is watching Andrea too closely. At least he's not fucking her like in the comic. Carl looks like a baby back in season 2. Lori defends Rick. Carol sucks still. Sophia is missing but whogivesashit?
413 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 97 - Fear The Walking Dead - 313 - This Land Is Your Land
This episode confused the holy hell out of Phoenix while also being a quality episode. Why does Alicia have perfect makeup during the zombie apocalypse? Why aren't they sending the bitten to go fix the AC? Why did everyone goddamn die except our main characters? None if it made any sense but it had great moments.
Also, Phoenix does a serious tribute to Tom Petty which might be the only serious moment on any LIW show to date.
412 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 26 - 11/9 (704)
This is the best AHS episode since season 2. Truly. It's such a relief to not have to deal with a shitty AHS season. Makes my job more difficult though. It's easier to make fun of things when they're terrible. Anyway, Kai is recruiting his cult and is willing to take care of your hard-on that won't quit to get you aboard. That's a good quality to have in a leader. So grab your jizz mop and listen to the LIW review!
411 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 50 - The Whole Truth (TZ 214)
This is the longest TZ review episode yet. This is also the worst episode of TZ so far but we managed to milk it for all it had. A scumbag used car salesman buys a haunted car that makes him tell the truth. Frank and Phoenix debate haunted versus cursed, talk at length about cunt honey or a honey cunt and then sort of touch on the episode at hand.
410 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 49 - Back There (TZ 213)
Lazy. This episode is dogshit lazy. "What if you could time travel?" Then the guy time travels because of a conversation. Lazy. This episode is dogshit lazy.
409 - TINM! - 71 - Analog Clocks
Phoenix is writing a book, 100 More Things That Will Burn In Hell which is the appropriately titled sequel to 100 Things That Will Burn In Hell. One of the topics in this upcoming book is analog clocks. He decided to record this podcast while waiting for Frank to get on Skype to start recording LIW The Twilight Zone Review. He doesn't read straight from the book but instead speaks straight from the heart. The episode is ended with a song from Astronautalis titled "The River, The Woods."
408 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 96 - Fear The Walking Dead - 312 - Brother's Keeper
We've officially entered TWD storytelling path. One episode here, the next there. Please don't hang out in this territory too long. This episode isn't what I thought it would be. It wasn't about a civil war. It was about a zombie war. It's about brother against brother...which sounds like a civil war description but isn't. Wait what?
407 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 48 - Dust (TZ 212)
This episode tackles the worst parts of life. Depression? Check. Capital punishment? Check. Angry vengeful mobs? Check. Racism? Big fat check. Child homicide? Tiny check. Fraud? Check. Magic? Check. Drugs? Check. This world is terrible. Listen and Phoenix https://twitter.com/phoenixwest and Frank https://twitter.com/LlNKZ talk about the depressing Sheriff Sheriff and his sad views on life, the fat man that sells a child some angel dust, Phoenix tells a short story from film school about having to hang an actor without killing him, the worst translation scene in history and much more. Much depending on your definition of much.
406 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 47 - The Night Of The Meek (TZ 211)
It's always nice to be able to root for your town drunk. In this cheerful Christmas story pulled from the gutters, a drunk wishes to become Santa Claus. Then he does just that. Apparently it's a very simple request. Also, a cop and a store owner develope a very happy, public, gay relationship which actually seems like a harder request in 1960. Phoenix https://twitter.com/phoenixwest and Frank https://twitter.com/LlNKZ discuss what this all means.
