If you love watching actors spouting out serious dialogue all the while having poop smeared on their faces and clothing, this is the episode you've been waiting for. You disgusting, disgusting human being. This is also yet another episode entirely based on water. The most exciting element after fire and earth.
404 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 25 - Neighbors From Hell (703)
This is a conspiracy episode for Phoenix. He lays out some possible scenarios about plots/characters that he believes will happen in future episodes. Or not. Who knows. Also, the fuck is with that Goosebumps glowing green truck? Too much glowing green. Too much. Anyway, this is a great episode for psychopaths and haters of animals alike.
403 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 94 - Fear The Walking Dead - 310 - The Diviner
Yet another episode where Phoenix rants about the difference between FTWD and TWD when it comes to pacing. This episode isn't amazing but it's a great example of how to cut between two different storylines. TWD needs to learn to do this. No, we did not need an entire episode about Tara hanging out at a girl's camp. That could have been PART of an episode. Not the ENTIRE episode. Anyway, this episode is about water drug dealing and how to not do it. Madison makes terrible decisions. But you knew that already.
402 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 93 - Fear The Walking Dead - 309 - Minotaur
Madison is a terrible leader and should be discredited whenever she speaks. With that being said, Phoenix is very excited about where this season is headed. This specific episode is all about fear, paranoia and water. This Otto clan is so weak that it takes them a total of two days to devolve into a Lord Of The Flies situation. Weak gang, bro.
401 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 24 - Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (702)
I don't like it when tv titles give me orders. I'll be afraid of the dark if I goddamn want to be. I just choose not to be. Independent of any outside orders. In this episode, Allison Pill continues to believe that her insane wife is seeing clowns. Until she realizes she's insane. Then right back into believing her. It's a vicious circle, folks. Despite this sarcastic tone, this is my favorite episode of the last 5 seasons. Yes, it's been a bit of a dry spell for success for AHS.
400 - TINM! - 70 - "Hand With An Anus. Like A Dirty Hamburger Helper." Phoenix On "Way Off Topic" Podcast 2
This might be the longest episode of TINM! ever. Well, hopefully. In this episode, Phoenix joins the Way Off Topic podcast for a second time as they discuss a little bit of everything, including: an in depth look back at the American't process, Tom Hanks fucking Wilson the volleyball (hence the title of this episode, Tomi Lahren and how she looks like she just smelled shit all the time, the Nic Cage classic Trapped In Paradise, Airheads and other pointless shit as well.
398 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 45 - The Trouble With Templeton (TZ 209)
Frank couldn't handle this simple plot. Phoenix liked this episode for some reason. This could be the most divisive episode yet. In reality it was just alright but the two go off on many different subjects and many different TZ episodes before finishing this podcast. Enjoy?
399 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 46 - A Most Unusual Camera (TZ 210)
Every single anthology series has a story about a camera or painting that can predict the future. Spooky spooky and so on. This one is for some unknown reason, a 'comedy'. It features the stupidest characters in television history. A 60 year old small time crook. An annoying blonde female with the voice of Harry Fierstein on helium. A giant, child-like moron recently escaped from prison. A truly evil bellhop. Also features a camera. A most unusual one.
396 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 43 - Nick Of Time (TZ 207)
In this gripping tale of domestic violence and gambling addiction, Shatner gets minor advice from a mystic seer. By that I mean a countertop toy on a small town diner booth. His poor wife has a lifetime of bankruptcy ahead of her. Luckily she won't be allowed to have an opinion on it though. He simply won't allow it.
395 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 42 - Eye Of The Beholder (TZ 206)
Frank and Phoenix discuss perhaps the most popular TZ episode of all time. They do not agree with the IMDb rating at all. It's a fine episode but the premise is stretched to a Goodfellas onion level of thin. Only in that movie they make a delicious Italian meal. This episode provides an obvious ending without much follow up. The major problem with this episode is that 18 minutes are spent concealing and then revealing pig doctors and then the remaining few minutes reveal a fascinating Pig-Hitler world which is genuinly interesting. But then the episode ends and we are left with credits instead of seeing the world Pig-Hitler crafted. Opportunity wasted.
393 - LIW Improv Theater - 52 - Explain Song Lyrics 9 (ICP's Miracles)
This episode covers a lot. ICP. Miracles. Nature. Terrorism. Flat earth society. Plus Phoenix also gives a gripping scene about the forming of ICP that surely must have really happened. www.LIWstudios.com
394 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 23 - Election Night (701)
Looking to escape the nonstop media barrage of Donald Trump reporting? Sick of seeing your facebook friends arguing about politics? Wouldn't you love to escape that by checking into your favorite horror themed television show? Too fucking bad. Prepare to watch as your reality is portrayed on the screen with familiar actors. This season, Evan Peters is Kurt Cobain as Heath Ledger's Joker if he were super racist. Try to enjoy.
397 - LIW The Twilight Zone Review - 44 - The Lateness Of The Hour (TZ 208)
Fuck this fucking episode. It was shot on video and looks like shit. The plot is shit. The actors are shit. The twist ending is shit. Shit...
392 - LIW Movie Review - 68 - The Stuff (1985)
Imagine you're a 12 year old boy and your world is shattered when your abusive family is overtaken by killer yogurt. Or is it killer? It's not made entirely clear. Maybe it's shaving cream. Or milk. Either way, this The Stuff is stored in the refridgerated and frozen section of your local grocery store. Also, it's sold on a warm display at the same store. Why? Why not, that's why. This movie from 1985 that feels like 1974 is a horror classic. Or a comedy classic. Or whatever it is, it's classic. Have you ever begged for a perfect blend of Disturbing Behavior and Halloween III? Your prayers have been answered. THE STUFF!
391 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 92 - Fear The Walking Dead - 308 - Children Of Wrath
Phoenix started this out with a test. Run down the main characters. Which ones do you care about? If they died would you care? Do you like them? Phoenix reveals his answer before and after the mid-season finale. Okay. Let's begin. This episode contained 2 heads delivered in bags and that's a pretty decent amount of heads. It also featured a desperate plea from the writers of the show to the audience to not hate their top billed actress. It didn't work. Good episode but didn't feel like a mid-season finale.
388 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 89 - Fear The Walking Dead - 305 - Burning In Water, Drowning In Flame
This episode featues a great buddy road scene, elderly murder-suicide, house fire, Dear John letter, compounded lies, the worst gift in the world and waking up a near murder. Plus, Phoenix cannot keep Ofelia and Luciana seperate. He knows the difference in the characters but cannot say the right name and it's destroying his brain. He will be insane by the end of this season.
390 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 91 - Fear The Walking Dead - 307 - The Unveiling
This episode is the worst. Not the worst episode but literally all the worst things are happening. Nick is sick and maybe dying. Alicia is nothing still. Madison is in charge. Victor and Daniel are MIA. Ofelia is the new villain. Lucianna is still alive. Following kid is nearly scalped. What the fuck is happening? In no way could this be a result of Madison constantly making the worst decisions possible. Nope. Phoenix also breaks down how those terrible decisions must be handled by Madison.
389 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 90 - Fear The Walking Dead - 306 - Red Dirt
This episode is full of stupid choices that lead stupid characters to stupid places. Also, some of our characters are mind readers. It's true. Watch the episode and you'll see. Or save yourself 40 minutes and don't watch it. You'll miss my grandpa who appears in this episode. It's not true. Anyway, this episode was all the fuck over the place and it's pretty much just a filler episode for the season.
386 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 87 - Fear The Walking Dead - 303 - Teotwawki
This episode is super awkward followed by super awesome. Starts off with a great VHS training video in the vein of American't 6: Customer Service. Go watch that on our YouTube page. Seriously. Go. Anyway, Madison sucks. Alicia sucks. Nick is awesome. Travis is still dead. Sons Of Anarchy guy is a mystery. The Following kid is an awesome pussy. His brother is a lovable psychopath. Oh, there is a head in a cage in a bucket that can somehow make noises despite not having vocal chords. Who knows. It's just whatever you want with zombies.
387 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 88 - Fear The Walking Dead - 304 - 100
Daniel is back and sexier than ever. He meets Jesus, confesses his sins, is forgiven and then god saves his life via lightening. It's all very biblical and unnecessary. Regardless, this episode is Phoenix's favorite episode of the series so far. This episode also doesn't feature a single member of the Clark family. Coincidence? Nope.
