344 - LIW Movie Review - 65 - The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978)

Phoenix has seen The Star Wars Holiday Special 20 something times. All within the past week or so. The viewing for this movie was for B-Movie Battle! (formerly Shitty Movie Showdown!) episode IV and because of editing the show, he had to watch and re-watch the 'special' over 20 times. It makes him sick thinking about it. This podcast is an angry letter to whoever is responsible for The Star Wars Holiday Special.

Phoenix gives this epic behind the scenes of American't 8: White Privilege Poker that features no shots recorded during the actual making of American't 8. All of it is recorded a couple months afterward while the mini casino set was still hanging around LIW Studios, taking up much needed space. If you watch the previous LIW+ episode, the LIW Studios Tour For Christmas 2016, it is still there. That's because this behind the scenes episode was shot immediately after that. Anyway, American't 8 was a strange episode that took a lot of weird, pointless work and Phoenix didn't want to tear down the set without first explaining the process. Enjoy.

336 - TINM! - 65 - "Entrepreneur Of A Homeless Enterprise."

This is the religious episode. I got three religious pieces of propaganda pinned to my car window, three days in a row a while back and I'm mad. So, I decided to read them to you and comment on them. One card is the confusing rants of a lunatic homelessman. The other is a fucking novel so I didn't touch it and the third was an amusing anecdote that totally 100% never happened. Also, I probably said 'fuck' more in this episode than any other episode. I apologize if it's not funny but it really pissed me off.

335 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 73 - The Walking Dead - 705 - Go Getters

In this episode, Phoenix talks about how stupid it is to travel with roller skates in this world. Seriously, it's impossibly stupid. This is AFTER Carl ruined a car to kill a single non-threatening zombie. Roller skates still ranks higher as a bad decision. Anyway, it's all about Hilltop as Jesus and Greggory have multiple discussions on whether or not Maggie and Sasha should stay or not. Then they have a couple more discussions on the subject before Greggory is casually overthrown as leader.

334 - B-Movie Battle! 14 - Nic Cage Cast - 4 - City Of Angels (1998)

There is a god. And he's a huge dick. In this Nic Cage classic, Nic plays a literal angel named Seth that falls in love with pre-surgery Meg Ryan. Then he has to murder himself to be with her. He gets inside that hot hot Meg Ryan body exactly once before she is killed. Oh, spoiler alert for the movie City Of Angels. You had 18 years to watch it and you waited until right now to read up on it? A review show on the movie wasn't a good place to start. I don't feel bad for you. You should go make yourself a human.

333 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 22 - Chapter 10 (610)

It's the end of this season and I feel fine. The season was fine. The episode was pointless. Anyway, watch as minor character Lee is treated like the star of the season via usage of 6 different television shows within the show. It gets confusing. This season is nothing but bringing people to a house to get killed. It was like the Friday The 13th series.

332 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 72 - The Walking Dead - 704 - Service

Phoenix has sexually confusing thoughts about Negan in this episode. It gets weird and confusing. The plot of this episode of TWD is really simple but still awesome due to Negan and Rick's back and forth. Phoenix gets weirded out thinking about Negan being alone in Alexandria without Rick or anyone else around. Isn't it weird to think of Negan being alone? Just hanging out without anyone to intimidate. Maybe just wearing some loose fitting shorts. Maybe a glass of wine. Maybe he's putting on some music and you know what? This episode is about missing guns. That's about it. Olivia should be grateful that Rick cares so much about her dumbass. Phoenix then predicts how the rest of the season will run out despite his wishes for better editing/writing.

331 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 21 - Chapter 9 (609)

Everyone goddamn dies. Or, all but 1 like the show said would happen. This episode is nothing but every character running around until they die. Only 10 episode this season though! That's great news. This episode also has 3 new pointless characters that are millennials so they constantly talk about social media before dying in horrible ways. Lee eats a heart. What the fuck happened in this episode? It's chaos. 

330 - LIW Improv Theater - 50 - Explain Song Lyrics 7 (Alanis Morissette's Ironic)

In this ongoing series, Phoenix finally touches on the song he wrote about in his 2008 book '100 Things That Will Burn In Hell', Alanis Morissette's classic song "Ironic." It literally drives him insane.
