328 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 71 - The Walking Dead - 106 - TS-19

It's everyone's favorite rest stop, the CDC! In this pointless visit, our main characters shower, drink wine, watch videos of brains, chat with a depressing scientist and then escape from the evil clutches of said depressing scientist. All in the hopes of finding a farm to lie low for an entire season. Seriously, the whole Shane vs. Rick thing is the ONLY thing to look forward to for a long stretch of TWD. Help me. Help us all. But don't help Jacqui. She doesn't deserve it.

327 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 70 - The Walking Dead - 105 - Wildfire

Morales wasn't killed in 104 because he's totally alive in this one. I apologize. I don't see race during zombie outbreaks. I'm not Merle. In this one, we see Shane want to kill Rick in probably the most intense scene of seasons 1-5 combined. Not until Negan shows up is there such intensity. Maybe the bathtub murders later on but that's a maybe. Anyway, Phoenix stays mostly on topic in this one. 

325 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 68 - The Walking Dead - 103 - Tell It To The Frogs

This episode goes really off topic in a great way. It mostly focuses on wondering why Shane and Rick, knowing that the world is completely ruined and pure chaos, would proceed to blow loads up in Lori. It's a dangerous game to play that obviously can only result in an 8 pound burden. Stupid. Anyway, they fish/hunt frogs in this episode and that's where the title comes from. We meet Daryl and he's just awful at first.

326 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 69 - The Walking Dead - 104 - Vatos

Latinos aren't all bad guys, guys! That's good news. Because we all assumed they were, right? But nope. This episode says otherwise. Phoenix goes off topic for a while to rant about the differences/similarities between marijuana smokers and beer drinkers and their weird subcultures. He also talks about the grandma in this episode and her total lack of situational awareness.

323 - LIW The Walking Dead Review - 67 - The Walking Dead - 102 - Guts

Why do zombies have such good smelling abilities. Why can they smell at all? Smelling requires oxygen which they can't produce. Climbing fences requires strength with requires muscles which require fresh blood with oxygen in them. They can't climb fences. Nothing about zombies makes sense. It's all bullshit. But zombies are cool so here we are. In this one, Shane makes the right decision for once. We meet a racist and a guy named Morales that Phoenix completely forgot existed because he simply walks away from the group early on. Enjoy.

I got too bored waiting a whole week for an episode of The Walking Dead so I went back and watched season 1. Eventually I'll get through every episode. This was recorded at 1 am after a few beers so it's a little long. I'll record the rest of the season 1 episodes in the morning after plenty of coffee to speed things up. 

321 - LIW Westworld Review - 8 - The Advesary (106)

This is the conspiracy episode! It's great except for the obviousness of the big reveals. This episode should have been shorter but Phoenix was in a post-Trump win haze and couldn't speak as quickly as usual. Get toned, Tony.

318 - LIW Westworld Review - 7 - Contrapasso (105)

This might be the best episode of LIW Westworld Review ever. Not just yet but for the foreseeable future too. Phoenix West recorded this at 1 AM, just hours before the 2016 presidential election started. He was drunk. He didn't feel drunk but he sure rambled like he was drunk. Not in an incoherent way but in an awesome way. Anyway, he talks about the wild west town, touches more on William being Man In Black (that's why they milk him wearing a white hat in his introduction), the large black cock of the waiter, Thandie Newton's body, that large black cock on the waiter, the lab assistant and how he will never accomplish anything in life, the weird shot of Dolores' on the train where William and Lawrence disappear and then he briefly touches on the large black cock on the waiter. This episode is just the biggest black cock you've ever heard.

319 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 19 - Chapter 7 (607)

Kathy Bates is the best. This episode is pure chaos. Witches. Sex. Cannibals. Sticks that appear from the ceiling. Murder. Pointless camera work. It has it all. As long as what you want is a reassembling of every horror movie ever made. Make sure you make it all the way to the last second for a strange ending. 

320 - LIW American Horror Story Review - 20 - Chapter 8 (608)

This is a boring episode. I just don't care about cannibalism. Unless it's happening to me, it's boring to watch. The cast is whittled down in this one. I also didn't realize Cain was played by Finn Wittrock. He's too good and it scares me. I also blow up on Ryan Murphy about spoiling his own show all the time. - Phoenix

This episode rhymes with the last one. It truly does! Daryl and Dwight have similar names. The Walking Dad has pacing problems and Phoenix really breaks it down at the end of this podcast. Listen for hilarious results. Who is Sherry? Why is this description out of order? Am I even thinking about the show I recorded or just writing nonsense at this point? Yes. And what is Sherry talking about?

This is a long one and we apologize. Phoenix went way off topic but also went deeper into the show than he usually does. He ACTUALLY reviewed the episode instead of just making fun of it. He talks about how amazing the show's writing is as far as character-to-character relations are. You actually care about robots. That's some honestly good writing.

316 - LIW Westworld Review - 6 - Dissonance Theory (104)

In this episode, Phoenix finally talks about the alternate timeline. He stalled as long as he could but it was time to finally talk about it. He reveals that someone told him about it before episode 102 and then ponders if he would have gotten their on his own. Can't be sure... Anyway, this is a good episode with even more Truman Show crossover. This show is officially the best show on TV. Wait, it's not TV...it's HBO.

313 - TINM! - 62 - "The Chicago Cubs Won The World Series Last Night"

In this unscheduled, unrehearsed and unscripted episode....well, they're all unrehearsed and unscripted but this one didn't even have bullet point notes....Phoenix talks about how the Cubs won the World Series the night before. He talks about his mixed emotions on the Cubs throughout his life and goes over his favorite teams. The episode isn't as boring as this description is. I promise.

314 - TINM! - 63 - "Why Do We Hate Ourselves?"

Topics of discussion for episode 63 are: recording American't 6 & 7, why do companies still show VHS tapes for training classes?, Colin Kaepernick hysteria, how stupid American pride is, Phoenix did stand-up in a dark hookah lounge, Radio Shack is still around?, election 2016, being banned from Facebook because of American't 7 and how it was similar to being banned from YouTube because of this very show.

In this episode, Phoenix talks about a metal band from his high school and their terrible band name change. He also talks about what the Man In Black wants and wonders if he's Agent Smith from The Matrix. Speaking of The Matrix, a little girl plays the Oracle in this show now. So, there's that. Also, the Cubs won the world series last night so Phoenix was celebrating so he's tired and confused a lot in this.

In this episode, Phoenix West discusses the Westworld movie scene by scene and makes fun of everything that doesn't make sense. This show is like stand-up mixed with a review show. Get used to it. Or not. It doesn't matter. Why can a robot swallow semen but not water? How do you know if you raped a robot or human in this world? Why would women go to this park anyway? So many questions and only long chase sequences to answer them.
