46: The Family Man (2000) vs. Trespass (2011)
Two movies where Cage plays a family man. One of them quite literally named after that fact. The other one is a home invasion movie by the same guy that made 8mm with Cage. This time it doesn’t turn out well.
45: Amos & Andrew (1993) (Live)
This movie is the good version of Trapped In Paradise. Swap out the mental deficiencies jokes for racist ones and you strike gold.
44: 8MM (1999) vs. Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans (2009 (Live)
Pick your favorite vice and you have your winner for today’s episode of Nic Cage Cast’s versus. Porn or drugs? Apparently Dick and I have different vices because we did not agree on the winner.
43: Bringing Out The Dead (1999) vs. Running With The Devil (2019) (Live)
One movie is directed by the best director of all time? Or it’s up to debate. The other is what happens if you spill white out on the scripts for a whole season of Narcos. Which will win. Just imagine the possibilities!
42: The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent (2022) (Live)
For the first time in a looooooong time we were excited for a Cage move in the theater! We both watched it there! We both paid money! Enjoy, Cage.

41: Kiss Of Death (1995) (Live)
“The best crime movie since Scorsese’s Goodfellas,” says the dvd box. Nope. David Caruso is experiencing a walking coma and has many confusion conversations about going under cover or not. It’s a mess but still decent.

40: Prisoners Of The Ghostland (2021) (Live)
This was a movie that had moving images joined by sound. It was pretty to look at but not to follow as a plot. End of review.

39: Snake Eyes (1998) vs. Looking Glass (2018) (Live)
Well this was an easy choice. Cocaine Cage or Thorazine Cage? Which do you prefer? We somehow talked for almost the length of the second movie about these movies.

38: Valley Girl (1983) vs. Valley Girl (2020) (Live)
Remember the 80’s? Now you’re forced to. Please don’t make me go back. It’s Nic Cage in his first starring role as a ‘punk’ who loves a Valley Girl. The remake is a musical. Don’t watch it.

37: World Trade Center (2006) (Live)
He came, he got crushed, he lived. We’re talking about Napoleon Dynamite here. Nic Cage in this movie is solid. That’s all you can really say here.

36: Honeymoon In Vegas (1992) vs. Leaving Las Vegas (1995)
A quirky 90’s comedy versus a super depressing 90’s alcoholic character study. Seems fair… Which will win? It’s obvious but let’s go!!!

35: A Score To Settle (2019) (Live)
If this movie made several major changes it really could have been…. mediocre. Why does this movie need a Fight Club twist? It didn’t earn it. It didn’t need it. We didn’t need it.

34: Lord Of War (2005) (Live)
This is audio from the video show We TRIED to talk about this movie but kept getting distracted. I didn’t even get to my Cage rankings. It’s #7 so far on both lists by the way. Enjoy this if you can.

33: The Croods (2013) vs. The Croods: A New Age (2020)
Yes, we already covered The Croods on this fine program….but not really. It was part of the 7 episode Cagemated montage and none of it was really clear. So obviously we are doing the same thing again but this time it’s teamed up with The Croods: A New Age (2020). Which one is better? Full disclosure, I have seen both of these movies by themselves so this is just pointless.

32: Adaptation. (2002) (Live)
Audio only from the live video show A double fisting of Nic Cage in this awesome movie. The only question to ask….where does this movie fall on the Cage rankings? RIP Donald Kaufman.

31: Pig (2021) (Live)
*This is the audio from a video show.* Well…. We wanted to make fun of this stupid premise but…. I mean…. How do we continue? Just watch Pig and enjoy it. Now that you’re done how was it? Great, right? How do we have a comedy show about this awesome movie? Well, we tried.

30: The Rock (1996) (Live)
This is just the audio from a video show. I asked the group which Cage movies they want to cover and Adam Wilcox chose The Rock. He never got to review it with us but we are here in his honor. Watch in awe as Cage doesn’t swear unless he’s killing someone and Sean Connery smirks at literally everything.

29: The Weather Man (2005) (Live)
**This is just the audio taken from a live video YouTube show. Check out Loitering In Wonderland on YouTube to see the whole video.**
It’s part edgy humor meets an independent comedy. Does it work? Does Cage work for us in this movie? Find out in this video. Plus you get to hear Michael Caine talk about camel-toes.

28: Willy's Wonderland (2021) (Live)
**This is just the audio. Loitering On Wonderland on YouTube to see the video.**
Why hire Cage if you’re not going to let him speak or freak out? He does nothing. He doesn’t even allow a character arc other than offering an energy drink.
